Needs a Lick of Paint

M and I have enjoyed a relaxing start to our holiday. We spent this morning planning which attractions to visit during our stay, whilst stopping to enjoy our river view and the bird life from time to time.

After a lunch of some rather delicious cheese and crackers we headed out to a local nature reserve for a wander and some fresh air. As is often the case when one visits a nature reserve we saw nothing of note but enjoyed the walk and hearing the birdsong all around us.

My photo is of one of the many boats moored the other side of the sluice gate. It might need some TLC but I noticed that there was a shiny looking kettle on the hob inside, so not completely abandoned.
