Glatonbury Day 3 - Tent city

Absolutely beautiful day. Again, working on my sister's stall, but had a chance to have a decent break this afternoon and wandered off in a big circle around part of the festival site. Happened across the Pyramid stage just before Ben Howard was about to come on, so stayed to watch (bloody brilliant!) I saw all these tents on my wanderings - so glad to be staying in a relatively civilised (and enclosed) traders area, rather than in amongst all this lot.

Also went to see KT Tunstall with my brother - she was great live - and stayed on in the Acoustic tent to see the Proclaimers come on afterwards. Good fun and nice to spend some quality time with my brother :)

We closed up the stall late evening and my sister and brother-in-law went off to see Public Enemy. My brother and I (totally exhausted) stayed up until about 12am, quite literally listening to Public Enemy out of one ear and the Rolling Stones out of the other - the stall and our camp are pretty much bang in between the Pyramid stage and the West Holts stage. The noise (not just from the main stages but from other smaller tents, stages and shops nearby) is just unfeasibly loud, but total knackeredness and a pair of ear plugs really do the trick to get you off to sleep....!
