Cutie

Managed to see the baby Great Tits before going away. I think there’s at least two which is good to see. I heard them chirping away in the oak tree and then the flew down into the cherry tree closer to the feeder so the parents had less distance to fly.
Mike dropped me at the bus stop with the bags and joined me later. Bus to Inverness and then a scenic bus journey to the airport which took an hour ! We enjoyed it though as we went past Culloden and the viaduct.
We enjoyed breakfast at the airport. The hash browns are really good.
The plane was slightly delayed and abit bumpy coming into Luton.
Picked up the hire car and headed to Luton Hoo hotel for the night. A really nice hotel. We were staying in the flower gardens. A huge room with a door out into a little patio area. We sat outside and had tea and cake (M&S Victoria sponge) . Saw a green woodpecker and red kites overhead. We had to retreat indoors as the heavens opened and the wind picked up.
On to enjoy the Spa. A steam room, solarium, sauna ( which was too hot ) a vitality pool and a swimming pool.
After we had a meal in the bistro which was right next to the building where we were staying. A great way to start are days away
