Crash landing

I watched the blue jays (we have two that come to eat) and this woodpecker have some skirmishes on the platform bird feeder today.   Usually it is the doves who chase the other birds away but the blue jays are winning the battle today.

The woodpecker did get time to eat sunflower seeds while the blue jay had his bath...photo in the extras.
