Typography fun

Hottest day of the year in Lisbon, I think, temperatures reached 42º.

Another visit to Feira da Ladra, Lisbon's main flea market, in search of old children's books (60s and 70s, mostly), a recent obsession/passion of mine. Bought quite a lot, all cheap and mostly by Alain Grée, a lovely artist.

Learned the typography basics with a friend who owns a printing press, types, inks and other equipment.

The image shows the sentence I chose to print, apparently a quote from Katherine Hepburn. Here's the end result.
