Summiting the cairn

I'm not sure one is encouraged to put more stones on the cairns on the Lakeland fells any more, but today felt quite a special day and worth celebrating the joy of fell-walking (unlike Tuesday's outing in the rain). This is the cairn on Brim Fell but the grandchildren had already climbed Coniston Old Man and went on to conquer Swirl How as well.  A proud day for parents and grand-parents!
