…………………………verbena, a new addition to the garden this year. I discovered the first blooms earlier today.

A quick trip around M&S late morning for a top up shop before picking up MC and the wee one. After a picky lunch MC left with the car and the wee one was left for an overnight stay. He was a little overdressed for the sunshine this afternoon but wouldn’t allow me to divest him of a layer so he’s been irritable and crotchety for most of the afternoon…he cheered up a little when Uncle G came for tea! Milk and PJs for him very soon and we’ll both be early to bed.

Extra: I’ve been inundated with starlings this afternoon including this very hungry fledgling who was rather partial to raisins.
