Emergency stop

After hanging the washing out, first thing this morning, I spent a bit of time watching a group of young siskins hungrily feeding  on the sunflower seeds. This came to an abrupt halt when Mr Bullfinch, who is a bit of a bully, arrived. The Siskin to the right stopped mid-air and went into reverse. I was however pleased to see Mr B with his sleek black head feathers, he comes by most mornings but I’ve not had the opportunity to photograph him for a long while.
