Poppies

A dull wet and windy day!

This morning I rang a friend and we went out for a coffee and cheese scone at the local garden centre.  It was very busy but fortunately a lady we knew was with a friend at a table for 4 and she asked us to join them.  Lovely to share conversation with them, they left just before us and as soon as we stood up to go someone was making for the table!  Came home, made a fish pie and K called in on his way home.  After lunch I walked round to his and we went for a walk along the seawall, light rain in the wind when we set out but it soon stopped.  Spoke to my friend this evening, we still chat each day.
