Green Shrimp Curry

It's been an irritating day.

I had to be in to work at 8am this morning to help with the bookdrop, which was supersized because of the holiday yesterday.

I collected Edna from the vets and then had to bath her as she had peed in the cat carrier. It took 3 of us to do it, and much as I would have loved a picture of it, none of us had a free hand!

Off out tonight to get yummy things from Trader Jo and then to our favourite Thai restaurant for dinner. "Hmm not very busy tonight" we thought as we pulled into the empty parking lot. Then we saw the "open" sign was unlit, the windows were boarded up and there was a sign saying "Sisters Thai Coming Soon". Darn it. Our favourite Thai has shut down while we were away.

Plan B has us at Sabai Sabai, a Thai restaurant in Germantown that is usually hard to get into on an Friday night. Luckily lots of people are away and it's getting late so they have tabl free. The meal was excellent although the portions are larger than we are used to so we will have to cut back next time. Here is the green shrimp curry.
