Scent from Heaven.

This was planted as a bare root plant last year.
The first flower was in July.
It seemed to be struggling at the beginning of Spring but when we were away really put a spurt on and this is the first flower, and a lot of buds still to open.
I bought it because of the perfume, but I think it needs warmer weather to bring it out. Doesn’t smell much in this cool weather.
Only 13C and dull.

After the farm shop we have spent the rest of the afternoon putting things back in the kitchen and downstairs toilet/cloakroom.
So far so good with the new boiler.

Fingers crossed for a warmer and sunnier weekend. We could all do with that.

We had our Covid jabs at the village pharmacy this morning. So far no side effects, infact I had forgotten all about it.
