Well I wish I was…getting really frustrated with Boots Hearing Care as my loan hearing aids aren’t going to be fitted today and they have no idea when they will be fitted because the Audiologist doesn’t work on a Friday and nothing gets done if he’s not there, which is ridiculous as the audio technician was there but couldn’t access the audiologist’s diary or tell me whether or not my loan aids were at the store.  I’m just about managing with my old hearing aids but after paying £3000+ 3 years ago for my Phonak aids, I did expect them to last a bit longer than this, especially as Boots provide a 4 year warranty.  Someone may phone me on Monday to let me know what they’re going to do, plus I was told my new replacement hearing aids haven’t been ordered because someone has to apply a “discount” code to them and it hasn’t been done?  I queried this and said that as mine were under warranty, why was I being charged?  She told me that I’m not being charged but it’s an internal arrangement between Phonak and Boots, so not really my problem?  I think it’s time to change provider as I’m sure other service providers can do better than this.
