I'm not a psychiatrist, but I'm pretty sure that this kind of speech is indicative of an egomaniacal personality, with a delusion that they are the culmination of a plan spanning several millenia. In fact, Netanyahu has been guided by a prophecy enunciated to him by a powerful religious figure known as The Rebbe. The Rebbe told Netanyahu that he had a mission from God, that he would be the one who would welcome The Messiah. The slaughter of Palestinians, whom Netanyahu has referred to as The Amalek, a nation and nomadic tribe who were said to have attacked the Israelite tribe as they escaped from Egypt, is a means to facilitating the Messiah’s return. To Israelis, The Amalek are regarded as the most unworthy people on Earth, deserving of slaughter.
