Not every day

Family reunion

A year ago we said goodbye to my father (see ceridwen's photo), in the Derbyshire village where he spent his final 40 years. We managed to book a house big enough for all of us, and stayed for the weekend. It was the first time his five great-granddaughters had been together, and it was such fun that we decided to do it again this year (and possibly every year). So here they are having supper together (pasta, obvs). Later they bathed together, deconstructed and reconstructed a room full of cushions (see extras), went rockclimbing and generally created mayhem. The old man would have been fascinated.

Also in extras, an attempt to repeat the walk to the churchyard.
