Being level headed

A nice dog walk, a run and a meet up with Pigeons in our normal cafe. These 3 friends are truly the best thing that came out of 17 years at the same primary school gate.

Then a swim. Other mermaids couldn’t make it so I swam alone and steadily for over an hour and a half.

And then this level crossing. When it’s down, it can be down for over 15 minutes. It’s near the entrance to the lake and I seem to get caught out going in and going out often. I should pack a picnic or something.
