COLOURFUL

Walked down to the village this morning  -  I had a 9am appointment at the Health Centre.  Saw a lovely lady doctor.  She thinks my symptoms are connected to my IBS ( Irritable Bowel Syndrome )  - but she's going to arrange an appointment for an ultrasound scan in case anything else is going on.  Didn't need any shopping so I came straight home after seeing the doc..

Did a few household chores and then settled down to catch up on some TV viewing.  In the end I caught up with some sleep instead... couldn't seem to stay awake.  Found some energy later on and had a bit of a sort out of the " cupboard under the stairs".  Its full of all sorts of junk and I didn't get very far today ... but I will get back to it another day.

Around 5.15pm I headed off to the Church Hall for slimming group. Even though I haven't been " on plan " since last Thursday I managed to lose half a pound.  Looking back on what I've been eating this week I really should have had a big gain.  But the scales don't lie.  I'm back to healthy eating now so hopefully there will be a bigger loss next week.

The Abstract Thursday challenge is 'colourful'.  i took a photo of the plastic tray from a box of Toffifee.  ( caramel cups filled with nougat, caramel and a hazelnut and topped with chocolate ...one of my favourite sweet treats ) The original colour is gold so I did some processing to make it more colourful.  Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting.

The weather today was dull and cold.  Back to wearing a cosy fleece coat when I went out.
