Smashing,super, gate....

A morning of this and that.
Put a fresh battery on the electric strip fence and decided to move the spring calvers and calves next to the sand quarry. Was going ok until a couple of the quarry guys in orange boiler suits appeared on top of a bund and the cattle all buggered off to the far end of the banking. Eventually got them through the gate ..
Had to go and fix this bit of pailing next to the road at lunch time. I think all the cows do all summer is trying and wreck as many fences as they can !
Littlemiss off to a new job today. That will be 3 she has now,plus helping me out as well.
When I checked my cows tonight ,this pure limousin had calved ,a bull calf. Hopefully it will have the brains to suck. Tomorrow will tell !
