Unexpected.

I took a few photos by the dam in Pitlochry, this is where we have driven to today from Blackburn (about 270 miles is enough).  However, a quick snap looking downriver turned into something I hadn't seen or expected. I know you will spot it!

In my extra, I was amused by this plaque, and instantly did not believe a word of it.  The thought of the Countess of Airlie making a concrete block struck me as ludicrous - am I a cynic? Then it struck me that maybe she did make the block, rather than just patting it with a trowel, which explains why it is in the boundary wall instead of in the actual dam. Am I being too cynical?
