A Trip to the Moon

Went for a walk along Morecambe promenade today. There is a second hand bookshop with all sorts of exhibits in the windows. This is a re-creation from the Georges Melies film A Trip to the Moon, widely considered to be the first sci-fi film. I remember seeing the film and clips of it have been used in other films too.
I had to include an extra today. It's the much photographed statue of Eric Morecambe on the promenade. I remember watching Morecambe and Wise on a Saturday night on the TV with all the family. Everyone who is photographed with the statue inevitably strikes the pose.
