Bee on Deutzia

Today's the day .............................. for a bee shot

Because I haven't done it at all so far this year, my mission today was to get a picture of a bee.

There were loads of them about so I set off with my trusty camera - and that's when I remembered how difficult it is to get one in focus?!  They are so intent on gathering pollen and feeding nectar that you think they are oblivious to you.  That's when you realise that they are all round the opposite side of the bush to you - and they have in fact clocked you right away.

Anyway, this is my best effort - after many attempts.  I'm hoping one of you experts can tell me what sort of bee it is?  But I can tell you that it was enjoying itself very much on the Deutzia bush .......................
