Clearly enjoying his job!

I’m so behind again! Life is just too full on at the moment and blipping just getting further down the list than I would like.

Backblipped Thursday for Saturday.

Dropped the dogs at daycare and hit ourselves organised to head north to Edinvillie, a wee village just outside Aberlour. A rather tasty lunch at Bruar en route and we arrived shortly after 4.

Our friend Stuart is part of the community hall committee and tonight was the third of a spring series of concerts. They were putting up 2 of the band and we were spending the night in their camper van which was very very comfortable.

The band - the Budapest cafe orchestra - are on a 3 week tour of Scotland. The violin player and main man Christian was fabulous as were they all really. Eddie, the accordion player has had a very interesting career. He’s in Captain corelli’s mandolin, a film I’ve never watched. But must do now.

After a great evening in the village hall we walked down the hill to Stuart and Linda’s house and enjoyed a couple of drinks with Christian and Eddie, chatting about anything and everything.

Lights out for me around midnight but Mr PHL stayed up with Stuart and the whisky bottle!
