Bridge Over The River, Why?

It goes nowhere. well it would if the middle section was attached.

However it's not, so is it really a bridge? Perhaps one day it will be whole again.

I feel empathy towards the bridge as I too am missing a part of me, perhaps too I'll be left to go derelict my big ideas just out of reach without the missing link.
