Unwilling visitor

We had a visitor today as it made sense that he came to us for a few hours as he had a visit to the V-E-T later in the day. 

Obligatory walking of the hound was called for, but as he's 14 he knows when he's had enough. 25 meters out of the front door - we'd reached that limit. The only way I'd get him to move would be to lift him, defeating the point of the dog walking, or return back to the house. 
So, back to the house we went. My walk to clear my head was a 50m round trip. 

I've been told that if it was wet under foot we'd barely make it as far as we got.
