What a day!

Our day started off with an early morning eye appointment for Ron. Documentation measurements and photos were taken and cataract surgery was scheduled for next Thursday. Thursday! Such a blessing for him to get scheduled so soon as we were expecting at least a month or two into the future. Luckily they had a cancellation and offered him the spot.
Then off to take our friend Carol, the one who has the beautiful back yard all in flowers that I have blipped many times, to emergency surgery with the orthopedic surgeon with a complication arising from her foot surgery of 2 months ago.
She is home and recovering, same day, with a friend staying with her overnight.
Home now, we as well as Carol, are thankful to have access to good healthcare and adequate insurance to smooth the way.
