Off the Beacon track

Trailwalker training today so my mate, who is a bit of a mountain guide, and I took to the Brecon Beacons to get a few miles in the clock. Given the gorgeous weather we decided to avoid the touristy part, Penyfan and Corndu were obviously very busy, but instead we took to the other side and Fan Fawr and the like. It was stunning, beautiful and so peaceful, we hardly saw a soul. Although we did see a Red Kite, but as I was rushing to get a shot of him it didn't come out so good. :( But hey at least I can say I've seen one!

In other news Andy Murray won Wimbledon to round off an incredible sporting weekend for Great Britain, what with the Lions and Chris Froome being in Yellow on the Tour de France.
