Homeward Bound

We had plenty of time today as our flight home wasn't until 5.10pm, so after a late breakfast we had a slow wander down through Chur from the hotel to the station to catch our train to Zurich airport.  On the way we passed this trio of statues at what looked like the entrance to an underground car park.  It was quite charming; I have no idea what the main statue was all about but the two urchin children were opposite and looking up at it.  Although my editing makes them look the same size they were all 'life size'.

A comfortable journey to Zurich on a double-decker express train during which we spotted deer, storks and a couple of 'eagles'.  I've called them that but I've no idea what they were, but they certainly weren't like anything we get at home and did look 'eagle-like'.  Now home after a 150 mile drive from the airport and thinking back on what has been a good holiday.
