Nourishment for a Nestling

Mama Sparrow has been working nearly around the clock. Along with her mate, the job of feeding these hungry nestlings is a huge effort. 

Papa Robin was on guard close to this house on the barn, up in the pine tree behind. I snapped the extra when he relieved his mate.
