There & Back Again

This snail had been on a long journey, simply to do a U-turn and set off back to where it started. I've played with the colouring, lighting and contrast to try and make the trail show up. I've cut off the turning point as the picture was becoming way too long and thin, unless one wanted a snail-trail-bookmark!

I've had a lazy day, nursing my cold and cough, playing word games, knitting, and watching a 2013 film about Charles Dickens's secret love. It was directed by - and starred - Rannulph Feines and was called The Invisible Woman. It did seem to be fact-based rather than fiction. Well acted!
