Saint Mary's
Not the most successful day today.
I started by having a call with a client from my friends office/guest room where I'm staying - which went well. I then took the train to London to visit them for a laptop swap. The process didn't go as planned and ended up as a farce. I've not been on site for a while so I knew that my access badge would need re-activating but I wasn't aware that my security clearance had lapsed and no one has mentioned this to me or my lead at the client.
Transport for London also overcharged me for my single journey on the Tube, and on the way back there was a major incident so I had to take the very long way back via Reading and then when I got to Basingstoke there were still no trains so I took the bus back to Overton.
Overall not a successful day.
The back blip is Saint Mary's Church in Overton, which I used to walk past every day going to and from work for several years. Since running away to France, seeing it again today on my way to the village train station was thus a bit of a novelty.
