Degas

I'm glad we went early to the exhibition .... a group of about 40 school children came at eleven o'clock and I've done more than my fair share of school outings over the years.

Paintings for obvious reasons are always displayed away from bright light and flash is not encouraged so I have done the best I can.

I chose three pictures of the dancers ... I went to ballet for ten years and loved it till the pointe shoes came along and I realised then that my feet were not the right shape for being up 'en pointe'
