Time in the garden

with midges happily nibbling away, they don’t appear to bother the cats. John has planted out runner beans from the poly tunnel, we now wonder if they will survive. He has wrapped cling film around the outside of the sticks, hopefully to deter slugs and snails, they love runner bean plants. 

The upside is to work out there and  listen to birds and watch other wildlife, it is a pleasure to live here despite some of the above irritations.

Butterfly - the nearest I could find on the chart is a green veined white?
