Spring Fever...

It was the day to tackle more of the garden weeds at the new house. We have a bit of a problem with bindweed in the front garden. It's not easy to get rid of it at this time of the year, so we just pulled out as much as we could and try again later in the year when other plants have died down. Luckily it's only in one flower bed. But I'll keep an eye out for it elsewhere.

We also built one of the small bookshelves from our recent trip to IKEA. It wasn't too bad but even for a small one it was heavy to lift about.

When the sun came out, I had a scout round the pond to see what was lurking. I spied a few pond skaters all paired up. They look quite innocuous. But if anything were to land on the pond ,and couldn't fly off, it would make a nice meal for these predators!
