Grounded

The cuckoo teased me for quite some time - it kept flying between trees and then flying a long way off; then coming back.

I had just given up and put everything back in the car when it landed in a nearby tree again and I thought that I would have one more go - got the camera out again and within a minute it flew down to ground for a few seconds - long enough for this shot.

Sometimes patience does pay off :)
