Scarecrows

Another busy retirement day: phone calls, emails, washing, cooking, walking the dog then bathing her, then two hours at our sick fellow parishoner's place sorting and cleaning. I have two big bags of washing to do and things to deliver to him. On the way back my friend and I stopped at the local garden centre for a hot drink, where I spotted these lovely creatures. It took me a while to work out what to call them (duhhh!!). Also bought us each a pot of hyacinths to cheer us up.
