In the Garden

I accidentally found myself weeding in the garden this afternoon and was delighted to find:

1. A glorious looking American toad
2. The freshest and brightest great spangled fritillary I've ever seen

3. - the extra - a blooming, healthy looking, large butterfly weed plant that I didn't know I had! It's in the wildflower garden, so I suppose it came up from a seed packet I tossed around a year or three ago. Yay! It's a member of the milkweed family - so it's good for monarch butterflies.
