The fencer's assistants......

Another day of dry spells and torrential rain.
The heifers I bought in Peebles shire last week were delivered this afternoon. Have shut them in a shed until they get their second BVD vaccine in 3 weeks then they will go out to a field. Hope it's dried up by then,as it was like herds of water buffalo squelching about this morning when I fed everything.
The sun reappeared tonight,so seeing as Mrs F and Littlemiss are away to the theatre I decided to go and fix some broken stobs on the electric wire round the field I hope to move one lot of cows to tomorrow.
Took my 2 assistants for a good run round the 40 acre field I was in ,although the fat one wasn't long in hopping back onto the bike ! The pup didn't know any better ......
You can just about make out Edinburgh and Arthur's seat in the background.
