Grab Your Passport And My Hand
Dear O'H dear & Lovely Tea Jenny,
We flew home this morning, sleepy but still on a high from yesterday. Unsurprisingly there were loads of other Swifties on the plane too and we could hear lots of Taylor chat.
The combination of being tired and buzzy made us very giggly on the plane home and things were disproportionately hilarious.
An inflight announcement was made in the flattest, most expressionless tone I have ever heard informing us of the opportunity “to. buy. from. a. selection. of. irr-e-sis-tible. hot. and. cold. eats” and that if we were struggling to choose, “ask. a. member. of. the. crew. about. their. favourite.”
“Eats? That’s a firing squad offence, declared The Youngest Mini Princess before she (for no apparent reason) started hissing “disgusting” repeatedly. EMP and I were honestly holding onto our sides.
Then the woman in the seat in front of me had her very long hair hanging round the back and we mimed cutting it, pouring water on it and plaiting it round my tray.
The excitement (and the early start) was all too much for the MP’s and they passed out. YMP woke first and turned to her sister with a look of mischief before she was stopped (giggling) in her tracks by my warning look accompanied by a raised finger. The same thing I used to do when she was 3!
We came home to a lot of rain and a very, very excited Murphy and told The Prince all about our fab weekend.
EMP went out this evening to celebrate Terry completing the Edinburgh marathon today which is fantastic! The Prince and I went to meet Kitty Cat and Marsh for our usual couple of Sunday beers so I could tell them all about Taylor. What a weekend!
