time to go home

Jess and Merry not looking too happy at having to share the boot space with our luggage!

It was a rainy drive down the motorway but we are home safely. After only four nights (but it seems longer), everything here looks very lush and green.  Of course the grass has grown, too, but it will have to wait until the weekend and some better weather before I cut it again.

Luke survived his root canal treatment this morning and was planning to cycle to the climbing wall before catching a bus to Dumfries. I'll be out to meet him and Otter after tea :-)
