Feeding the coot chick

I went to the castle to see how the water birds were progressing.  The swan is still on her nest incubating eggs and the moorhen was feeding chicks hidden in the reeds.

The coot parents have six chicks, some of them staying in the reeds but a couple of them were out on the water and getting all the food.
