Jacob's Well, York

Carving from the 15th century wooden canopy that hangs over the entrance to Jacob's Well. Jacob's Well is a medieval hall house built in 1474 as lodgings for a priest. It seems to have alternated between being a private house and a pub in the following centuries. It is now available to hire for weddings etc.
