Blood tests

"The purpose of a blood test is to obtain information on the subject's health or to diagnose diseases. It is also used to monitor the effectiveness of medicines and treatment."

A year ago when I felt very weak I was allowed to have the nurse come home to me for the blood samples. This year, a week ago I was told on the phone that "if you can get in the cab, you can go to the lab, we do not have personnel for home visits."

So that is what was done.
I went to the site of the lab, marked a date and hour for the appointment, called my usual cab, and set up the time for 9.15 on Monday morning.

It is a 15 minute drive to town and we were there in time.The nurse was skilled and very nice as they always are.  The cab driver took me home and I went to bed and slept a couple of hours for the lost sleep.

The results will be on the website probably by Thursday, and you can read them with your ID. The doctor's (oncologist) appointment is set for 9 am on Monday.
