Marsh Irises

After a walk yesterday that involved very wet feet as well as a shower, we opted for a known drier route today. It crosses the Test valley but on a raised gravel bridleway.

The river was still high and overflowing and these fields still have standing water.

And we saw two women who had just had a swim in the river. I don't think I'm up for that.
