Looking over the village

It is the right time of the year to sow elm seeds, various members of the community tree nursery are collecting them and this morning John and I set out to do this, successfully, a few seeds from a number of trees.

Along the way I dropped off some cat food (courtesy of CP) for an old lady who loves cats, she has her own cat plus a roamer who stays occasionally although isn’t keen on the resident cat. We then continued on to Lucy’s garden to buy a few pots although forgot it was cash only, this restricting the number of pots to buy.

Lucy hosts a charity day, Riding for the Disabled, on May bank holiday Sunday and today Monday, many visitors called in and contributed to the funds. If you visit Mull this garden is a must, although tea and cake are not normally available. She was in good form, an amazing woman, who will keep going forever I should think. Her garden often features in colour magazines and newspaper articles.

Power cut due and minute and rushing. I was sorry to miss weeflecky in Dervaig yesterday, brain fade on my part. I understand you had a good day.
