Shock !

I was sitting in The Hill House cafe catching up with my friend P yesterday and ,after about 45 minutes, a member of staff came to ask if I was the owner of a silver skoda that had rolled down the hill into another car .
I'm still in shock !
It could have been so much worse as the car was stopped with quite minor damage by the collision with the other larger car. It doesn't bear thinking of what might have happened if it had rolled down that long steep hill.
The car was bought from Arnold Clark quite recently and under their 90 day warranty the hand brake was repaired as it was sticking on in the morning.
Clearly not repaired properly.
Now the process of sorting out the insurance etc begins.
On reflection, I'm so grateful that the car belonged to a very kind and calm man who dealt with the situation in a way I couldn't have expected.
I will write a more inspiring blip entry tomorrow!
