Sleepy

1500!!
After yesterday’s “meeting” with my cousins my brain was completely empty. I managed almost 2 hours sleep and felt quite lethargic. Anyway glad to be awake and the fact that I had Logan for company to accompany on my morning jaunt was a blessing. I woke up ravenous and remembered that I had hardly eaten yesterday, two slices of sourdough bread topped with black cherry jam plus a banana and a mug of spice orange awakening infusion and a spoon une of Exmoor honey did the trick.
I’m struggling to remember the whole journey as this is what true fatigue feels like.
Anyway Logan and I covered quite a distance across the commons in lovely spring weather. A cup of tea became a requirement and although two people were there chatting at the bike hire shop/cafe they declined to make a drink for me because I was too early.
Fortunately after slowly climbing Carriage path I found the Chuck wagon open and willing. A large slice of buttered fruitcake and a decaf tea three sausages for starters, two for Logan and one for me.
An then I remembered that it was cash only.
Fortunately my good friend Al was nearby and he gave me a fiver. Al invited me to go to his house and see the nearly completed gypsy caravan he’d spent four years renovating.
An impressive piece of work that I need to go back and photograph when I’m not so tired. 2 hours later and I popped home for a chat with auntie and her enabler. Auntie had been feeling rather subdued that morning according the change over book.
Back to base and an invigorating swim in the campsite pool, this discipline is most definitely helping my body recover from my recent injuries.Shopped for auntie and on returning back to Amadeus I found myself chatting on the phone with some friends that I haven’t made contact with for quite some time. The friends had been through some trauma and bottled up everything and just wanted to chat about things past and present and to find some positivity. Was propping up my eyes and before I could say bingo I was asleep.
