First swarm collection 2024

Arkle and finn walked with company.

Walked to allotment. Sorted greenhouse out.

Last plot prepared for pumpkins ,peas and dahlias.

Walked home, it was heavy showers.

Quiet afternoon.

Bees in evening. Honey flow is on which is nice.

Got a call to a swarm. It was close by so collected it. This is a feral colony from the house flat roof. It is a cast swarm I think with a young queen.

Arranged to drop it off tomorrow at a local school who are starting a bee group.
