Aquilegia

I've never planted these but they've been in the garden for over 40 years (like some of the tulips).
I was going to get a pic of 2 small snails inside a Welsh poppy but then it rained and when I went back out the petals had fallen off!
I spent the morning making bread, cooking, doing various odd jobs and Kids' Club admin but late morning the sun came out so I went out. I managed to get a section of flowerbed cleared of dead crocus leaves and weeds before the rain came.
It didn't rain much but by then I started something indoors and didn't go out again until running time. We had a shower before we started and a heavy one just after we finished so we were lucky.
