A bit of colour in the mist
My walk today along the Moray Coast started at Lossiemouth. I set off along the beach in the sea mist, which felt a little surreal, but the beach huts at Hopeman provided a bit of colour (see extra). I finished at Burghead, which I learnt at the museum was 'the Pictish Power Centre' and the promontory fort there was the largest in Britain and possibly in Europe.
