Water Collection

Back to our new park. This is the rear view of the preserved facades of the original small workers houses on this site. An interesting feature is the circular gravel area, of which there are many throughout the park including a very large one in which kids play with their buckets and spades. These are rain collection points which channel the water down below to be later recirculated to water the garden areas! Smart, and new to me!
