I'm pleased to say that the weather behaved itself for our walk today.  It rained all the way to St John's in the Vale but as soon as we arrived it stopped!  How about that.  As always there were gates to open and close and my sister isn't gate savvy, so she had fun trying to open them with my help.   Stopped off in a couple of places on the way home and Misty even got a paddle in Bassenthwaite.  Postcard in extras.  Oh and my sister calls the tree in the postcard, The Tree of Life.   She is going to our other sister in Essex tomorrow via four trains!  Fingers crossed she has a smooth journey.
